Materials such as copper, brass, steel, aluminum, corten and bronze – are very fashionable in coatings and furniture design. They affirm themselves like matter of election in their raw state, in lacquered, with brightness or in mate, giving a new language to the environments. Versatility and toughness are two of the reasons why metal is nowadays so much appreciated in interior design.
Metals are introduce on furniture with very assumed structures, which, due to its characteristics, releases the piece of furniture from dense structures, allowing the appearance of pieces with a clean design that easily can be introduce in all types of spaces. In the furniture and even in lighting, we can observe a clear presence of these materials in the coating of the pieces or in small details.
At the level of coatings have emerged several materials with metallic finishes, such as wallpapers, ceramics, metal plates, among others, that allow the creation of elements of prominence in a division.

Metal was a very present material in traditional kitchens, such as the typical copper pots, sinks or the common golden taps in the country houses. Nowadays, we see how these elements became trendy and how metal easily merges into contemporary spaces.
In both, domestic and commercial kitchens, metal brought to these spaces irreverence. It is a material that provides brightness and color when being introduced into space or furniture, and can have various finishes and patterns. Besides being a washable and highly resistant material, which makes it a great material to use in a kitchen, it also gives a certain wealth to the space.

In the bathrooms we see this tendency very present in several objects that constitute this space. With the emergence of the contemporary industrial style, bronze and copper were introduced through pieces such as lighting and antique taps, which led to a reinterpretation of the various elements that make up the bathrooms.
The metal has become a material and color widely used in various decorative styles, whether classic, eclectic or contemporary. Nowadays there are a wide panoply of metal products that can make a bathroom quite sophisticated when used with care.
