Natural and rustic woods have always been part of the production of furniture and pavement, but nowadays we see how these materials are not limited to only one type of production.
Wood is an extremely versatile material that, depending on its typology and finish, can create several different environments. In conjunction with other materials we see how it is possible to create pieces with a differentiated design where wood is still evident. Can be used rough or with wax / resin treatment, matt or glossy finish.
THE CONTRASTE OF MATTER
In pure-line environments, where the contrast of matter in its natural state is assumed and purposeful, highlighting the need to assert the existing details in the matter, such as the shafts, the difference of shades among others. Whether in coatings or in pieces of furniture, the wood allows an immense range of options that conjugated with each other creates very interesting situations.
THE RUSTIC WOOD IN CONTEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTS
Through the furniture we were able to implement several finishes, using wood in its natural state or conjugate with other materials, without ever losing the contemporary character. In the case of rustic pieces, it becomes interesting to place them in contemporary spaces in which contrast with the straight lines of the rest of the furniture,
provide a look so fashionable in the décor of spaces. On the other hand, to connect it with the metal, in smooth and straight structures, or introducing in acrylic cover, in this way creating contemporary pieces.
Materialize this trend in interiors, making these spaces contemporary and different it isn’t an easy taske. We are here to help you. Contact us| IDesign.art by Paula Gouveia
